Abstract

1,192,032. Collapsible cartons for bottles. HONSHU PAPER MFG. CO. Ltd. 20 June, 1967 [21 June, 1966; 25 June, 1966; 6 Dec., 1966], No. 28322/67. Heading B8P. A collapsible paperboard bottle carton with top and bottom flap panels has its side walls having a number of cut lines joined at their ends by fold lines so as to define a number of partition panels which are foldable inwardly and horizontally to form a number of compartments, and which are collapsible to the plane of the side walls when the carton is collapsed. The bottom panels 7, 8 are joined by gluing and have fold lines enabling the bottom to be collapsed inwardly. The partitioning may be supplemented by separate pieces, e.g. Fig. 28 (not shown) and by extensions (33). Figs. 9 and 10 (not shown) to top flap panels. Many embodiments are described, for four, six, nine and twelve bottles.
