Abstract

1,191,169. Feeding sheets. TIMSONS Ltd. 15 Nov., 1968 [5 Oct., 1967], No. 45338/67. Heading B8R. Sheets S are retarded as they are conveyed between endless bands 1 and 2 to front stops 11 by engagement with the nip n of slower moving feed rollers 13 and 14. The nip is relieved as the front edge of a sheet arrives at the stops by the provision of an arcuate recessed portion, 13a, in the periphery of roller 13. The sheets may be fed from gripper cylinder 12.
