[Also in Divisions B1 and F2] The apparatus of Specification 1,147,246 is modified by the replacement of the water pressure regulator (37) thereof by one R in which the water pressure is regulated in dependence on that of the gas pressure in the carbonator 1; a diaphragm 91 (see also Fig. 3, not shown, and Division F2) is subjected on one side to carbon dioxide pressure in the lines 23, 27 from the gas cylinder 25 to the carbonator inlet 1, and on the other side to water pressure in the lines 75, 39 from the pressurized water chamber 63 to the blender M, and operates a valve (133) in the water flow.
