Addition to 116,234 Spring devices.-In a spring mounting for the front wheel of a motor-cycle, a link-mounted fork h is controlled by a laminated spring having one part d parallel to the steering-stem and pivotally connected to the upper and lower ends thereof and a second part e disposed over the wheel and, connected at its outer end to the lower end of the fork by a strut k. As shown, the strut k is rigidly secured to the fork and to the mud-guard l, and a link j or other means providing the necessary freedom of movement is used to connect the spring to the strut. The strut may also be pivoted to the fork and to the spring.
