Abstract

1,175,378. Laminates. LIMEHOUSE PAPER MILLS Ltd., L. HOAD, S. C. CRONAN, and R. H. NELSON. 13 Feb., 1967, No. 6687/67. Addition to 1,015,746. Heading B5N. [Also in Division B2] The Specification describes the same paving strip as Specification 1,015,746, but wherein the binder comprises a bituminous material other than coal tar. The petroleum binder may be a straight-run, a cut-back, a blown or a coloured bitumen or asphalt, e.g. Lake Asphalt mixed with a diluent. A release agent comprising a detergent with or without soap may be incorporated in the strip to lessen the adhesion between the binder and the undercover. A release agent may also be applied to the undercover by screeding, rolling or spraying before the bitumen impregnated backing is applied thereto.
