Abstract

1,175,213. Valves. KALTETECHNIK VEB. 13 March, 1967, No. 11653/67. Heading F2V. A tapping device having two inlets (6 and 7, Figs. 3 and 4, not shown), supplied with different types of fluid such as ice cream, and one outlet 21 extending into and out of respectively, a cylindrical chamber 8, has disposed within this chamber a cylindrical piston member which is axially divided into two piston portions 10 and 11, the portions being slidably connected to each other by a tongue and groove arrangement 25 provided in the adjacent flat faces of the two portions. Near its upper extremity, each portion is provided with a groove 26 which houses a cam 30, manually operated by a lever 28, the arrangement permitting simultaneous or independent actuation of both piston portions thereby uncovering, to the desired degree, one or both of the fluid inlets, which enter the chamber between seating rings 14, 18, as well as the fluid outlet.
