1,173,272. Spray producers. E. J. BALS. 15 Nov., 1966 [14 Oct., 1966], No. 37629/69. Divided out of 1,173,271. Heading B2F. Spraying apparatus comprises a rotary atomizer 6 and a reservoir 11 for the liquid to be sprayed and from which liquid is delivered by gravity to the atomizer, so arranged that a change of orientation of the apparatus acts to cut off the liquid gravity feed. The atomiser may comprise a plurality of coaxial discs 6 mounted on shaft 5 driven by electric motor 4 which is powered by battery 2 located in handle 1 and controlled by sliding switch 3, gravity feed line 13 and air bleeder line 14. The components may be made of plastics material.
