Textiles are treated continuously with processing liquors, e.g. dyes, by immersion in the liquor followed by removal therefrom and passing between directly opposed groups of flexible bristles such that both surfaces of the textile are simultaneously brushed therewith. Stationary or rotating bristles are useful; their natural resilience may be supplemented by auxiliary pressure means.
