Abstract

1,170,144. Selvedge jacquard harnesses. DEVOGE & CO. Ltd. 25 July, 1968 [27 April, 1967], No. 19350/67. Heading D1E. To allow for fabrics of different widths selvedge harness cords 8 pass through a series of slips 20 mounted on nylon tubes or rods 24 which may be flexed to allow for adjustment of the bottom comber board 36 widthwise of the loom. The tubes 20 may be adjustable in the comber boards to vary the position of the heald eyes 14 and the slips 20 may be supported by only one rod 24 which may be shaped to prevent twisting of the slips. The cord holes in the slips may be bevelled.
