A door hinge permitting angular movement of up to 180‹, shown closed in Fig. 2 and open in Fig. 3, comprises mounting members 1 and 2 secured respectively to the face of the bearer wall 6 and to the inner major face of the door 7, and two arms 3 and 4 secured to one another at 5 for relative pivotal movement, the arm 3 being also pivoted to member 1 at 8 and secured to member 2 for sliding movement by a slide block 9 in a slot 10, and the arm 4 being correspondingly pivoted at 11 to member 2 and slidingly secured to member 1 by a block 12 in a slot 13. The slots 10 and 13 define concave paths with their ends directed towards the support faces. The slide block and slot arrangement may be replaced on one or both arms by a link 3" or 4" (see Fig. 1) pivoted at one end to the arm, the other end being attached to a pivot 10" or 13" disposed at a suitable point on the path defined by the slot 10 or 13 Members 1 may be secured to the bearer wall by screws 22, and member 2 may have peripheral ridges, optionally forming a continuous screw thread, for knocking or screwing into a corresponding hole in the door.
