Abstract

1,166,832. Tyres based on 1,2-polybutadiene. DUNLOP CO. Ltd. 7 July, 1967 [9 July, 1966], No. 30929/66. Headings C3P and C3Q. A road vehicle tyre has at least its tread portion comprising a vulcanized composition of a rubbery homopolymer of 1,3-butadiene containing at least 50% of 1,2-addition. The preferred polymers are oil-extended. The polymer may be blended with natural rubber or butadiene-styrene rubber.
