Abstract

116,609. Sherwood, F. Aug. 23, 1917. Gas cooking-sloves.-An oven stove is constructed with flue spaces at the sides and back and a boiling space above. An atmospheric burner i is fitted in the skirting space beneath each side flue space, and the products of combustion rise into the boiling space. The back plate of the oven is perforated. The burners are of narrow boxlike construction, cranked as shown in Fig. 4, and are supplied with gas by nipples j projecting into their open ends from a common supply pipe l at the back.
