A pressure gauge comprises a housing 1 and a flexible diaphragm 3 defining a cavity 2 for receiving the fluid whose pressure is to be measured, the housing having a bent portion and a resilient member 5 interposed between the diaphragm and the bent portion of said housing and arranged to urge the diaphragm against a part of the housing. The resilient member 5 may be in the form of a disc-shaped spring or be a ring of semicircular cross-section. A further washer 6 may be interposed between the member 5 and the diaphragm to evenly spread the face of the member 5.
