Abstract

116,152. Banks, J. June 5, 1917. Folding vehicles; vehicles with removable bodies.-A two-wheeled trailer for motor road vehicles, adapted to be taken to pieces and loaded upon the tractor, comprises a body part a formed in two parts hinged at h and detachably mounted on an underframe b, which is removably connected to springs j secured to an axle carrying detachable wheels. The body is positioned on the underframe by dowels c, Fig. 4, and is secured by hinged lugs e engaging eyes f fitted with pins g. The springs j have a sliding engagement with the underframe at k and are attached at their other ends by removable pins o, p, Fig. 2.
