The tubular point of a drawing pen is made of hardenable steel or steel alloy having titanium carbide bonded into its crystalline structure. Up to 50% of titanium carbide may be employed. A movable pin may be mounted within the tube. The steel may be a chromium molybdenum carbon steel alloy. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 1,051,009.
