Abstract

In a grinding roll suspension system in which the adjustable grinding roll is mounted in lever arms 1 and is supported by prestressed spring elements 6, 7 which are each situated on the lower part of a two-part draw rod 4, 13 the two parts being interconnected by a tightening screw 12, the free end of each lever arm is fork-shaped and is mounted by means of a pin 2 so as to be rotatable with an articulation piece 3 situated on the lower part 4 of the draw rod and with the prestressed spring elements 6, 7. The lever arm has a recess 15, Fig 2, through which the upper end of the lower part of the draw rod is pivotable, after the screw 12 has been slackened, with the pre-stressed spring elements about the pin 2.
