Abstract

[Also in Divisions C4 and H1] The invention comprises an electro-photographic process wherein an image is formed using electrically photo-sensitive particles of a compound of formula wherein R is an aromatic carbo - or hetero-cyclic radical which may be substituted. The compounds (see Division C4) are magenta-coloured and may be used in association with yellow and cyan photosensitive pigments in electro-phoretic or deformation imaging processes as described Specifications 1, 124, 625, 1, 137, 885 and 1, 137, 886.
