Abstract
1,152,379. Thin film capacitors. WESTERN ELECTRIC CO. Inc. 15 June, 1967 [20 June, 1966], No. 27728/67. Heading H1M. A thin film capacitor comprises a deposited layer 12 of tantalum on a glass or glazed ceramic substrate 11, an anodically formed oxide layer 13 and a counter-electrode 14 comprising nickel-chromium and aluminium layers vacuum deposited in a two-step operation. Such capacitors are stated to be stable to variations in relative humidity.
