Abstract

1,147,511. Looms. NUOVO PIGNONE S.p.A. 11 May, 1966 [15 May, 1965], No. 20986/66. Heading DIE. Selvedge formation at the inside edges of two widths of fabric which are being woven as a double width on a conventional or shuttleless loom is carried out by two of the selvedge forming devices described in Specification 1142563. The warpless centre part of the double width fabric is cut away by two pairs of scissors mounted upon the temple carrier.
