Abstract

1,145,590. Electric toothbrushes. SUNBEAM CORP. 22 Aug., 1967 [10 Oct., 1966], No. 38569/67. Heading A4K. An ejector sleeve 50 is operated, on depressing button 61, to release brush member 21 from its locked position, on an oscillating drive shaft (27). Downward pressure on the button 61 pivots lever (60) about its trunnions 62, so that forks (69), 70 lift the sleeve 50 and force the resiliently-urged projections 43 out of their retaining groove (38) in shaft (27). A flexible rubber seal 32 is provided for shaft (27).
