Abstract

1,142,733. Ventilators. H. H. ROBERTSON CO. 14 April, 1967, No. 17162/67. Heading F4V. In a louvre assembly 20 of the type in which the ends of inclined louvres 24 are spaced in vertical channel members 22 by adjacent spacers 26 therein, one of the louvres or a spacer e.g. the lowermost in each case, is weld d to each member 22 and the remaining louvres and spacers are clamped to the secured element in each member 22 by a rod 70 passing through the ends of the louvres 24 and tightened by nuts 84 against angle plates 76 which are welded to each end spacer 28. The spacers 26, 28 are snapped into place by beads (56) Fig. 7, not shown), on the legs 54 engaging grooves (42) in the facing surfaces 40 of the inturned flanges 36 of members 22 so that the outer surfaces of the flanges 36 and the web 52 of spacers 26, 28 are coplanar.
