Abstract

1,141,997. Wall or ceiling linings. HUNTER DOUGLAS INTERNATIONAL Ltd. 11 Feb., 1966 [11 Feb., 1965], No. 6229/66. Heading E1W. Linings for e.g., walls and ceiling, comprise channel-sectioned support members 4 with generally T-shaped castellations 6 along their edges, over which are clipped relatively wide, generally C-sectioned panels 3, and between which are clipped relatively narrow, generally C-sectioned panels 7. The panels 7 are inserted through the openings between adjacent castellations and held in position by projections 8 on the undersides of the flanges of the castellations. The panels 7 may each have curledover edge flanges (as shown), and a central trough 9 which sits in recesses 10 in the support members, or alternatively, (Fig. 4, not shown), the panels 7 may have their edge flanges bent through less than 180‹, and engaging behind the projections 8 on the flanges of the castellations 6, which projections are, in this case, undercut on the appropriate side. In this case, also, the panels 7 have flat central portions.
