Abstract

1,138,865. Vehicle interior mirrors. STADIUM Ltd. 5 Oct., 1966 [11 Oct., 1965], No. 42998/65. Heading B7J. [Also in Division E2] A mirror unit for mounting on a smooth surface comprises at least four contact portions arranged to engage with such a surface, at least one of which is a suction cup, such contact portions being resiliently interconnected and a mirror secured to said contact portions. In one construction, Fig. 1, a top portion 11 of a suction cup 10 is attached to a resilient member 12, the member 12 having four extensions which provide contact portions. In a second construction there are two suction cups which are attached to opposite end portions of a resilient member which has two centrally disposed extensions which provide contact portions. In each form a ball and socket joint is attached to the resilient member for supporting the mirror.
