Abstract

1,138,154. Safeguarded medicines &c. W. C. GIBSON. 28 March, 1966 [29 March, 1965], No. 13615/66. Heading A5B. Pharmaceutical and other edible compositions comprise an active substance and apomorphine, the relative quantities being such that up to a pre-determined quantity of the composition comprises a safe quantity of the active substance and a sub-emetic dose of apomorphine but greater amounts of the composition contain an emetic dose of apomorphine. The preferred form when the active substance is a solid medicament is a dosage unit in which the apomorphine is mixed with the active compound or, more preferably, is present as an outer coating over the medicament.
