Abstract

1,135,489. Cots. A. F. KENT. 16 June, 1967 [30 June, 1966], No. 29317/66. Heading A4J. [Also in Division A5] The self-supporting side walls of a frameless carry-cot are hinged to the base so that, on release of fastenings at the corner squares, they fold outwardly, into the plane of the base, to form a ground sheet. The corner squares may all be fastened by one form of construction such as flaps a or c, or by stiff segmented areas b, foldable along the lines common to the triangles h, i, j, k, l and m. The vertex e is folded inwardly over the top edge of the corner formed by the abutting walls to retain these in the upright position. Carrying handles or other supporting means may be provided.
