[Also in Division B5] In a method of producing a composite seating unit comprising a rigid frame 10 and a resilient platform 11 to which a pad 16 of foamed material is adhered, the platform is deflected during the moulding of the pad in a mould 12 and is subsequently freed to impart a curvature to a surface of the pad. The deflection of the platform may be effected by an adjustable projection 15, as shown, or by a hook member.
