Abstract

1,127,806. Bags; packages. E. S. KARDON. 12 May, 1966 [17 May, 1965], No. 21010/66. Headings B8C and B8K. An insert 40 such as a packet of seeds is positioned between the rectangular diamond folded bottom of a bag and the portions 30, 28 which are adhesively secured to one another between their contiguous faces. The diamond fold is formed with a tab portion 22 forming part of the bottom fold portion 28, and with flaps 24 glued together to form a fin seal. The insert 40 is preferably retained in position by a glue deposit 33 prior to folding over the fold portions 28 and 30. The bag may be formed of an outer sheet of paper and an inner heat sealable lining.
