112,759. Lamar, A. L. Oct. 29, 1917. Vaporizer.s, external. -The branched induction pipe 7 is entirely surrounded by the exhaust pipe 2, 3. The air is heated by passing through the casing 14 iu contact with the exhaust pipe. For starting. light fuel is admitted to the inclined part of the induction pipe, and after starting, water is injected into the branched part. Straps 26, engaging T- headed bolts, are used so that the vaporizer may be attached to any engine.
