[Also in Division B8] A drive chain for a slat conveyer (see Division B8) comprises a plurality of links each with a single tongue 2 at one end displaced through 90 degrees in relation to a pair of spaced parallel tongues 3 at the other end. The single tongue 2 of one link fits between the pair of tongues 3 of the next adjacent link and is connected thereto by pivot pins 4. The horizontal pivot pins are extended to receive brackets 5 connected to the slats 1 and the vertical pivot pins carry at their lower ends a roller 8 for engagement with a guide track (not shown).
