Abstract

1,121,348. Releasable fastenings. ROCKWELL MFG. CO. 13 Oct., 1966 [18 Oct., 1965], No. 45850/66. Heading E2A. [Also in Division B8] A device for guiding a load 12 along a cable 40 comprises a cylindrical portion having a longitudinal slot 21 and supporting the load on a plate 11 secured thereto, and two end pieces 22 each having a slot 26 which when aligned with the slot 21 permits entry of the cable into the cylinder whereupon the end pieces are rotated to look the cable in the device. The end pieces are sprung onto and engage the cylindrical portion via grooves and lips. Spring catches 32 on the inside of the end pieces engage the slot 21 when the pieces are rotated into the cable locking position.
