Abstract

1,121,175. Castors. ZELLWEGER Ltd. 29 March, 1966 [14 July, 1965], No. 13881/66. Heading A4U. A castor wheel 4 is releasably lockable against swivelling about the axis of the pivot pin 2 by means of a latch plate 13 which is biased by a spring 16 into a selected one of a pair of diametrically opposite notches 14 formed in disc 11 carried by the wheel fork 5. The latch 13 is rigid with a lever 15 to pivot about a pin 12 thereby to release the latch 13 from a notch 14 and free the castor. An extension 17 of the latch 13 may be engaged behind a rubber roller 18 to hold the latch 13 out of engagement in a notch 14. The end 21 of a slot 20 formed in a cover 19, 19<SP>1</SP> provides a stop for the lever 15. The castor is fitted to a frame for a warp tying or knotting machine.
