111,883. Wellington, S. N., and Etherton, S. B. Dec. 8. 1916. Materials for making gas.-Gas-producers are supplied with the refuse liquors from coke ovens and gas works. The liquors are collected in a tank, treated with fresh lime, and allowed to flow under gravity into the gus-producer where they are converted into steam and gases.
