1,113,636. Milling-cutters. ASSOCIATED ELECTRICAL INDUSTRIES Ltd. 20 July, 1965 [12 Aug., 1964], No. 32841/64. Heading B3K. A milling-cutter comprises a number of blades biased by springs 9 axially of the cutterbody 1 towards the work, cam means 11, 12 to retract the cutters and means 6, 7 for locking each cutter in an adjusted position. In setting up the cutter, a flat carbide pad 15 is secured by a magnet 16 to the milling machine or a jig. Each blade is then advanced in turn towards the pad by rotating its cam 11.
