1,109,273. Cleaning spinning &c. machines. SPINN-UND ZWIRNEREIMACHINENBAU KARL-MARX-STADT, VEB. 13 August, 1965, No. 34772/65. Heading D1F. [Also in Division F4] Means for removing dust, &c., occurring in the operation of a textile machine (winding, spinning or twisting) comprises a blower 10 supplying air to one or both of a pair of vertical pipes 1 which together with interconnecting cross-members 4, 5 and brackets 7, form a carrier for a cops box 8. The carrier reciprocates along one side of the machine on rails 15, 16. The air jets issuing from nozzles 12 of pipe(s) 1 are directed onto the yarn or thread to be cleaned, the resulting dust passing into suction funnel 13 and exhaust duct 14.
