Abstract
1,108,572. Electromagnets. C. BURKERT. 23 April, 1965 [24 April, 1964], No. 17213/65. Addition to 922,034. Heading H1P. [Also in Division F2] . The solenoid valve of the parent Specification is improved, in that the coil 2 on its former 1, along with the magnetic sheet 4, are embedded together in thermosetting resin by compression at low pressure to avoid damaging the coil. Two spaced tubular iron pole sleeves 5 and 6 are similarly embedded in resin 8 which forms a guide tube, closed at the top, for the armature. The material 8 extends to form a flange 7 for bolting to the valve body. The separate assemblies fit closely one within the other and are secured together by cementing or sticking.
