[Also in Division E1] A grid structure, which may be curved in more than one plane, has a pair of sets of members 3, 3, 4, 4, each set running in the same direction transversely to the other set, the members 6, 7, of at least one set 3 being bent out of the general plane of the grid to allow bending of the grid in one direction without bending of the other set 4. Preferably both sets are bent about lines, such as 8. 9, 10 to an angular formation between the common areas 5 forming the plane of the grid. Two of the grids may be secured together either at areas 5 or bend lines 8. The grids may be integral or built-up of metal or plastic and may be used for reinforcement in concrete multi-curved structures.
