Abstract

1,108,191. Trackways for toy vehicles. KADER INDUSTRIAL CO. Ltd. 17 Dec., 1965 [1 March, 1965], No. 8729/65. Heading A6S. A grooved track section for a toy railway has counting means to register the number of times a vehicle passes. The system Figs. 1 and 2 comprises a trip lever 25 having, projecting into the groove 11, a pin 23 and which is struck by a passing vehicle so that the nose 32 of the lever 25 strikes a pin 35 on a "units" disc 30 and moves the disc round on digit. The lever returns to the original position under the influence of a spring 27 whereupon a projection 38 on said lever 25 moves into the path of one of the pins 35 to prevent further rotation of disc 30 pending another operation of lever 25. A single tooth 42 on the "units" disc moves a "tens" disc 44 one digit at every complete rotation of disc 30. The discs may be returned to zero settings 'by clockwise rotation, as viewed in Fig. 1, of disc 34, a knob being provided on the upper side of the track for that purpose.
