[Also in Division B3] A sheet metal nut having arms 1 and 2 to embrace a panel, has a part-circular tongue 6 formed in the planar portion 2 to locate the nut. The tongue extends initially at an angle to the planar portion, and has a free end 8 which is substantially parallel to the planar portion. A hole (10), Fig. 3 (not shown), is formed in the tongue aligned with thread-receiving aperture 3 and, in the fitted position, with the hole in the panel.
