Abstract

A weft inserter comprises a tape or rod having secured thereto a separately made hook. The hook is secured below the tape by rivets or screws passing through a slot in the tape and engaging a pressure plate. Accurate alignment of the hook is ensured by engagement of its turned-up end with a turned-down end of the plate in a hole in the tape.
