Abstract

Angle measuring appliances.-A gauge for measuring the diameter of cylindrical and conical objects and the angle of the latter has two straight edges d, e, Fig. 1, each connected at two points to a base plate a, by screws which engage slots and enable adjustment of the distance apart and angle between the straight edges. In a modification, Fig. 4, for internal work, projecting straight edges i, k are similarly secured to a plate o, and an adjustable clamping plate z is provided. This clamping plate may have a screw adjustment for varying the distance between the clamps, and the lower member k may be cranked to increase the angular movement.
