Abstract
A binder comprises, in weight per cent, anhydrite 40-60; basic blast furnace slag 30-50; high alumina cement 4-8; slaked lime 0.8-1.8; and K2SO4 0.8-2.0. The anhydrite can be a natural or a synthetic one produced in phosphoric or hydrofluoric acid manufacture. Binder components are smaller than SSu. Water repellants, e.g. silicates, fluosilicates, phosphates, aluminates, stearates of alkali, or alkaline earth metals or silicones can be added, and K2SO4 can be partially replaced by FeSO4 or ZnSO4.
