Abstract

Steam-resistant dehydrogenation catalysts are regenerated by passing a mixture of steam and oxygen, or an oxygen-containing gas mixture over the catalyst at a temperature of above 1000 DEG F., the partial pressure of oxygen being at least 1 p.s.i.a. The procedure is described with reference to calcium nickel phosphate and iron oxide or magnesia.
