A motor vehicle package tray is moulded from rubber or plastics, and comprises parallel steel reinforcing strips 2 embedded in the tray, and metal brackets 3 embedded in the tray by which it is secured beneath the facia panel or dashboard (not shown) of the vehicle, the tray being collapsible in a direction normal to the strips 2. The sides of the tray may be mounted in runners (not shown) instead of being supported by the brackets 3.
