Abstract

1,092,732. Dynamo-electric machines. MAVOR & COULSON Ltd. Dec. 8, 1964 [Dec. 11, 1963], No. 48862/63. Heading H2A. A dynamo-electric machine includes a plurality of independent side-by-side stator windings 13 mounted in a common housing 10 wherein rotors 14 mounted on separate parallel shafts 15, 16 pass axially through a respective stator winding to co-operate therewith. The shafts 15, 16 may be connected by gearing to a common output shaft, Fig. 2 (not shown). The stator windings are preferably connected in parallel and the rotors may be driven so that the machine acts as a generator.
