A dispenser for liquids such as coffee concentrate or other beverage has a tank 1, resembling an inverted bottle, provided with a vent tube 2 having its lower end immersed in the liquid and an outlet provided with a valve seat 9 and a vertically reciprocable armature or valve member 12 which can be lifted by energizing the coil 11 of an electromagnetic device controlled by a button or a coin freed timing device to deliver a fixed quantity.
