Abstract
1,091,498. Induction plasma generators. BRITISH TITAN PRODUCTS CO. Ltd. May 13, 1966 [June 2, 1965], No. 23449/65. Heading H5H. Induction plasma apparatus comprises a gas confining tube 1 surrounded by a conductor 13 connected to a source of oscillatory current, the upstream end of the tube containing a baffle 16 provided with apertures around the periphery formed to direct the gas flow into helical paths in the tube. The apertures are formed by cutting radial slots in the baffle and bending corresponding sides of the slots with respect to the plane of the baffle.
