Petrol cans, detachably securing to running-boards and other flat bases.-A can-holder comprises a frame a attached to the step &c. of the vehicle and provided with an upstanding rim d with an inturned part e to engage the bead on the can, and an eccentrically-pivoted bar h which can be put in engagement with the bead on the can and fixed in position by means of the operating-lever i and the catch j. Holes may be provided in the lever i and catch for a padlock. The projection c is provided for unscrewing the can stopper.
