Abstract

1,084,812. Sliding door hangers. DEANS & LIGHTALLOYS Ltd. June 3, 1964 [June 6, 1963], No. 22510/63. Heading E1J. A sliding door hanger comprises a C-section supporting track 12 and a hanger bracket 14 carrying door 10 and having a free running Vee-type roller 24 running along a lower radiused profile 20 of the track to provide point contact therebetween and a free running tensioning roller 30 resiliently urged as by spring 36 operatively connected to roller 24, against the upper radiused profile 22 of the track. The track profiles 20, 22 are radiused about a common centre. A contact wiper (not shown) may be provided on the leading edge of the hanger bracket to keep the track clear and a draught excluder 50 is carried on the top of the door panel.
