A trailer hitch for a tractor comprises a hook 3 connected to the lift arms of the tractor by telescopic links 7, the hook 3 being held in the raised position by hooked levers 1 which engaged hooked members 2 associated with the hook 3. The levers 1 are released to lower the hook 3 by means of a lever 4.
