Abstract

1,078,128. Cleaning surfaces carrying electrostatic images. ARLSIDE Ltd. Nov.29, 1965 [Dec.3, 1964], No.49192/64. Heading G2H. A surface X that has carried a developed electrostatic image is cleaned by a web 4 of fabric, e.g., spun rayon moving in the opposite direction to the surface X from spool 1 to spool 3 of a replaceable cassette. A roller 2 is pressed against the web 4 by a cam 5 against the action of a spring 6.
